I am just back fro 2days up on th loch and i was fine with a 3mm! saying that i had rubber pants and a thermal rash aswell! i was there the second last weekend in september and it was one of best weekends i have had the loch was like a mill pond no wind at all! shorty will be used this summer though as wether is meant to be warm warm warm!!!

As for petrol on the loch the petrol station a Drymen has gone and i would advise taking up plenty of fuel, yu can fill her up on the water too but beware the new by-laws around inchmurin too and the new patrol boat which is 11m long has 2 diesel stern drive units puting out 490hp and they have imposed a 30kmph speed limit for all recreational towing which include wakesports.
