I believe the route is Sport England and UK Sport (Both lottery funded) channeling via BWSF through to Wakeboard UK - I am checking this and will ammend this post if I'm wrong.

In addition to this any private companies that can be cajoled into supporting the sport directly. In the past this contained White Stuff, Speedo etc.

As you can imagine this isn't a great deal of money, especially when you compete with other sports, tours, competitions, pro riders etc. Hence we are at a position where riders may end up contributing to far away comps. How we got here is another story for another post and I'll make sure this post doesn't descend into a WUK bashing one.. if only because I volunteer hours and money on the techie side directly to WUK so will get p*ssed off.

We've got a post of the team being crafted for the WUK website, will reply here when it's up.
