read the article in the local paper about the application being blocked. utter rubbish in terms of impact on the area and their own 'childish' and nimby concerns about noise.

interestingly the local parish council website has a link to all the housing developers websites- so i take it that sort of developement is all right then? The whole thing smacks of double standards.

Whilst cable sites are popping up over the world the Uk stagnates (the growth of sites not of talent). Fuel for boats gets more and more expensive so surely the logical growth market would be with development of cable sites? I'm amazed at how well the UK riders do with such a small 'scene'..

Other countries seem to place a bit of importance on cables..
