I wish i could ride behind the Xstar, i've seen it in the harbour and it looks sweet.

Usually ride behind either of the following boats 17ft Fletcher, 20ft Sea Ray, None of these compare to a proper wakeboard boat, but they can produce a good enough wake for alot of tricks as long as the water is flat.

Have ridden behind the X2 at ringwood lakes, thats nice to ride behind and you can get some mad air.

London Boat Show in January usually has good deals on previous season boards, or you could wait and get a 2004 model. i think zone 6 had an evo for sale a couple of months ago, dunno if he still has it. Don't forget that you'll need a decent pair on bindings too, these make a big difference aswell.
