OK with regards to the competitions, at the end of the day we set this event up so that everyone could have a go if they liked. Last year on this forum there was much talk about the fact that there were not enough opportunities for riders to 'get out there' and compete. So we set up Air as a club competition with 'extras'. pretty much as soonas we annouced the event we were approached by dozens of 'sponsored' riders wanting to know how to enter, we considered all of the enquiries, and because we only have so many hours available, we chose 14 riders to compete in the 'Pro' division

heres the 'confirmed' 'PRO' (or sponsored) rider list as it stands at the moment, subject to politics, injuries, temper tantrums, double bookings, and general cock ups!

Matt Crowhurst
Ben Hitch
John Tully
Sam Carne
Matt Price
Stewart Mackie
Craig O'Meara
Dan Nott
Kent James
Johnny Carne
Marc Rossiter
James Young
Jonty Green
Jack Wayne

These guys will be competing on Saturday in the main comp and also in the Big Air on sat night. Time permitting we may open the big air up to the 'CLUB' (or non sponsored) riders but this will be confirmed closer to the day.

All riders, Pro and Club will be contacted prior to the event to confirm attendance and exactly what is going on.

The choice of the Pro riders was made to cover all styles and basically get a well balanced group of riders that would make for close competition but also spectacular riding thats good for the spectators.

The club level event is exactly that, its for club riders, most wake clubs have a club competition and this is no different...its just on a slightly larger scale with a massive first prize and some wicked runner up prizes (thanks Xtreme-gene.com and monstertower.co.uk)

the website is being updated daily now and the list of riders will be up there shortly.

We have a limited number of 'slots' for the club competition 20 mens and 5 ladies, we still have place in both divisions but not many, if you want to compete, if your NOT sponsored, if you fancy a week for 2 at Xtreme-Gene the got to the website (www.Air05.co.uk) and enter.

Hope that covers everything, please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any queries, my details are on the site, and providing I am not full of stella I will do my best to answer any queries.

cheers, and I hope you're looking forward to it as much as I am
