hi any 1 no if a cruise control will work like a perfect pass and how they wire or rig up. :idea:

The Perfect Pass uses a hull mounted paddle to sense speed and is linked to a motor which regulates the speed. the waterski model also uses buoy magnets to verify times/split times through the course.

The consensus on this subject on other sites is that it may be possible to convert a cruise control from a scrapped car but by the time you got it working (if you ever did satisfactorily) you'd be much better off to put your hand in your pocket and buy a Perfect Pass.

I'm an electronics engineer and that's what Im gonna do!

You didn't make your own tower, did you? The arguments and economics are similar.
