Default Mastercraft boat check

Does anyone know of a suitable Mastercraft engineer who could do a pre-purchase mechanical check of a Mastercraft boat that I'm interested in up North. I know Ski Boat Zone South do such a service but they're in Poole.

Try either shockwave in Preston www.shock-wave.co.uk
or Mastercraft - Nottingley

Cheers, I've dropped Shock Wave an email, see if they are able to help out.

Yeah, well I'm getting there... takes ages going round checking out 2nd hand boats that are suitable. I think it must be easier if you buy new, you just pick the model and colour you want and wait for delivery. I originally thought I'd buy new or nearly new but just didn't feel I could justify the cost at present so am looking forward to wakeboardising a suitably hulled ski boat. Maybe a future 'Pimp my boat' feature on Wakeboard.com eh?

Model wise I'm very much liking the Mastercraft Maristar 230 VRS, and saw a suitable one at the weekend near Southampton. A slightly better specced one is available up North which I will hopefully get to check out next weekend with a bit of luck... think it's the one you pointed out to me ;-)

If I can get the right boat for a good price I'll be more than happy and can then focus on a bit of a project, which will be great fun after work during the summer. Spotted a cool website doing towers for ski boats at www.newdimensiontowers.com , impressive what you can do with the right style tower. I have had a monster tower also so that could be an option as they are well put together and will fit almost anything.

Who knows, I've only got a day in the next month free to go boat shopping so I may end up buying a Coscto inflatable dingy in June the way my life is going at the moment...
