Default Boat trouble

My Bayliner (3.0L to Alpha 1) is stalling when I put it into gear. Never did it before. If I sit in (N) it's fine, but when I engage gear slowly it dies. If I engage quickly, especially giving it some gas it also prevents stalling.

Any ideas? Could it be a mis-alignment (engine to outdrive)

Could simply be that your idle speed needs turning up.

It should be about 650rpm when in gear or about 750 in neutral.
