Default Maristar a good option?

Everytime we think we've found the right boat another one comes up. What do you think of this as an option: http://www.boatsandoutboards.com/view/F132527/

We never go on the sea - it would just trundle up and down the lake.

It’s not the same hull as the current X30 it’s the hull with the inbuilt platform which I think is 96 or earlier.

It doesn’t say how old it is or how many hours it’s done and the fact that it has closed loop cooling could suggest a life in salt water.

It’s not in the UK so you will have on costs to import it

And its previous owner was French which seals its fate for me.

The 225vrs is a big boat and I mean big! Perhaps not so well suited for lake use unless its a windermere sized lake.

The trailer hasn't seen any saltwater action so its unlikely the boat has.

Bringing it over will only cost you the towing/ferry costs as its coming from within the EU.

Personally I like the french

If you're near Bristol I'm happy to show you a 230 in the flesh... they are big boats so you may be better off with a smaller option.

Thank you very much for the offer but I have realised that a huge boat like this doesn't make sense for our lake. The search continues...
