Default Sound system advice!?

i know its not much but we have a budget of £500 for head unit and some speakers. anyone got any reccomendations, are Boss audio anygood.?

i saw that boss on ebay they are cheep, i am thinking of getting audio into my boat too, i am looking at not using a head unit and conecting my ipod to the amp via phono socket.............if anyone has tried boss speakers i will be interested to see what the quality is like.

aah, i guess you just plug the ipod in to a head unit and the head unit controls teh ipod then?? cos i was imagining getting out of the water and changing tracks on the ipod with my wet hands!

Please avoid Boss big time... total rubbish in my opinion.

Give me a holla and I'll hook you up.. we can sort something for 500 easy
It's all about the amp in marine installs.. using a decent one can make all the difference.
