Default Towing vehicle....

i,m pulling my hair out with this one. I have a Bayliner 175xt which I need to tow around locally (fairly hilly). Would a 4 wheel drive 2.0ltr petrol subaru do the job or should I go much bigger (discovery or similar) Could anyone out there recommend a good towing vehicle for this size of boat - something which won't break the bank....thanks...

I can help out on this one, i pull our boat:

eBay.co.uk: Craig Craft Dominator 19.6 - Inboard Wakeboard Boat LPG (item 110104074265 end time 23-Mar-07 11:02:10 GMT)

Which is 19.6 foot with my Subaru forester 2.0L no probs. this includes wet slips. muddy fields, very steep hills.

Cheers
Ross

Id get an old Discovery as they are dirt cheap and easy to fix. Plus you can throw loads of gear and people in them.

I subscribe to the “size matters” & “bigger is better” school of thought.
