Default Waterproof Connectors

Anyone got a suggestion for decent waterproof connectors for the wiring that goes into a bilge pump. I have installed and replaced numerous connectors in the last 6 months, each one corroding in the rather salty and wet environment around the bilge pump.

The boat is kept on the water all season so I'm looking to fit something that will last the course.

Any ideas?

I used these little chaps together with heatshrink over each connector and then heatshrink over the whole lot. Probably overkill but seems to keep everything out. Not salt here though.

Jeremy, If you need any heat shrink stuff also look at Jointing Tech Uk, Electrical Distributor, Power Cables, Electric Underfloor Heating, High Voltage Components they are one of my suppliers and keep all sizes of heatshrink, if you want anything p.m. me and i can sort it out at cost or if i have in my stock (depending on size) F.O.C.

Cheers for the info and offers of help. I think I have some of that heat shrink in the garage so I'll give that a go. Wanted to do it today but it's tipping down so I'm creating a new version of the Wakeboard UK website instead.

Can't go wrong with soldered and shrunk connections. I always solder ever connection I do on my boat.
