Default Converting to LPG

How much is it to convert an engine to LPG? I am thinking about buying a Ski Nautique 2001 and due to the cost of fuel, I would consider converting it.

Any advice would be welcome. Cheers.

Here's a good previous post on LPG,

Running on LPG

Try the advanced search option also, try lpg and lpg conversion.

Just do it mate ... you should see it as an investment if you go for the dual fuel option - it is adding value and versatility to your boat for the next person who comes along and buys. It also means you can warm up without any freezing worries on petrol before pressing a dashboard button to switch to gas whilst still running - easy. I run a SANTE with dual fuel on a ZR6 engine and it works beautifully. Not sure whether saltwater cowboy is wholely correct regarding the need for multipoint injection LPG systems on engines with different inlet manifold lengths (throttle body at one end vs the middle of, the engine) as mine has been fitted by the guys
@ TVS and it ain't the first ZR6 to be fitted with this system. Works spot on, well happy.

If your talking 2001 model nautique then its a very simple engine to convert.

You'd be looking at around £550 for parts only and you can expect to pay that again for installation costs which is a bit of a bummer as its no more than an afternoons work.

@ the pimp can you let me know what system your ZR6 is running? I'd be very interested to see what mixer is being used and how its coupled to the intake. Also how the factory ECU is being emulated would be good.
