Can't you take it back to where you bought it or was it a private sale. Even if a private sale the old owner may have had the same problem in the past and may know an easy fix.

Hmm seems a hard one to diagnose. One things for sure though you should defo get the temp guage sorted asap. Its probably the most important of all gauges on a boat.

The vaporiser should be warm to hot depending on how the engine is running. The overall temp isn't too much of an issue and if its warm there is defo coolant flow so you can rule out that.

I'd go with a tank issue, most likely with the multivalve if fitted or the pickup/fill fittings if a 4 hole tank.

Either way I think you'll have to get a mechanic to run some futher tests.
