Thanks for the info, that's three possible repair/replacement shops that I wouldn't have known about, great when I get a result on wakechat

Will dig out my snorkel kit tomorrow and go for a swim in the marina...

Noticed that Wakeside are pushing different prop sizes to take into consideration the use of fatsacs when wakeboarding (e.g. heavier boats, lower speeds than waterskiing):

V-Drive Propellers (For Mastercraft): Wakeside.com

Seeing as I have a 20 min run to get to my local flat water can someone explain the pros/cons of the 2 props Wakeside offer as I need both economic performance for running along the coast plus good performance when I'm towing on the river/in the bay.

Just spoken to Mastercraft Parts and ouch! they want £400 for a new cnc OJ prop... the size is probably 13.7 - 17, but I do need to get the full details of the actual fitted prop before I do anything.

If your pulling the prop in the water make sure you leave the nut on a couple of threads and expect to have to buy a new woodruft key unless your dive and retreival skills are particually good!

I had to use a propane torch, puller and a bloody big hammer to get my prop off the other week. It just would not budge.

If you just have a slight vibration then i'm sure your shaft is fine. Most likely just bent blade.

I got steel developments to lower the pitch on my prop too. I went from a 17" pitch to a 16". Seems to make quite a bit of difference for hole shot. I never go above 25mph any how so losing top end wont make a difference.

Pitch is all just compromise. You either have great hole shot and less top end or vice versa. If you run a lot of ballast 1500lbs + then you should find a slightly lower pitch will help your economy, but not a lot!
