Default Log Impact - Prop Damage ;-(

After an awesome session yesterday we managed to hit a log on the way back from the river to the marina with our Mastercraft Maristar 230.

I've noticed a very slight vibration at low revs after the impact so am guessing at the very least I've got a dinged prop... at worse, some other running gear damage, fingers crossed the driveshaft didn't get affected.

Now the major problem is that the marina has no ramp at present so I don't want to spent mega $ getting a lift out of the water to check the prop.. is it possible to pull the prop off without taking the boat out of the water? I guess you are asking to drop it but wondered anyway.

Also, I was thinking about getting a spare prop anyway so can you guys recommend a supplier in the UK... I'll try Mastercraft obviously but wondered if there was another source?

Castle Marine in North wales (just type their name into google) or their is a place in Manchester that rebalances them etc but I can not remember the name, no doubt DJBTS will post it soon as he's taking my prop to them tomorrow.

I have been looking to buy a new prop but apart from the above and Mastercraft dealers I cannot find anywhere in the UK where you can buy props (at a good price!). Wakeboards, Wakeboard Towers, Wakeboarding Gear, Hyperlite, Liquid Force, Ronix, CWB, O'Brien: Wakeside.com does AMCE props at a good price and even with the carriage I reckon its cheaper than buying a new one in the UK. Yet another case of the UK being the 'Golden Isle' for companys!!!!

Touch wood its just the prop. Take a look, if its just bent a bit you can ealily bend it back into shape whilst its still in the water. Then sort it proprtly when its next out of the water.
