Guys you should have got one that fixed to your screen. You can drive then no matter how hard its tipping down and stay dry. Also it keeps all the warmth from the heater inside on those chilly days!

That does look cosy, but we have no heater either.

If I do have to drill the tower, the screws it comes with dont look to strong, just 1 inch self tappers, has anybody else used these? Do you epoxy in the screws for extra strength or anything?

Cheers

Hey Cowboy,

What bimini is that?? It looks like it is fixed to a Loud Liquid tower (I have the same tower and would like a cover). Did you get it form Tower Boy?

Cheers
Dave

It came with the boat. (well it didn't but thats a whole other story).

I think it was a factory option. It doesn't fix to the tower. It has snaps to connect to the windscreen and then a pair of support arms that fix it to the hull just where the screen ends.

Best part is that when its not in use its the same height as the tower and doesn't get in the way so if we get a quick rain storm I can be undercover in seconds! Oh and cosy is dead right. It even has zips side and rear to allow you to fix in extra windows thus encapsulating the entire cockpit in a micheal jackson like bubble!

I'd never own another boat without a bimini like this. It makes it so versatile. The other week it was tipping it down at the lake but the water was glass. Everyone sqeezed under the bimini and we rode all evening!

Fitted it today just in time to save us from the rain. Had to use rivets in the end as the supplied screws where crappy, but now it is super solid.

Boat is almost finished now, see pics below. (Thats kieran at minsterworth looking uphappy in the rain)

Cheers

Eek looks like i'm late on this one! Been away on hols...

I can get those clamps Ross but looks like it's a bit late :P

Are you happy with the end result? Mind filling us all in on where you purchased and the costs? There's no point em trying to peddle biminis if people feel they are too expensive etc...

Mike
