Does anybody know what the difference is between a CE approved Mastercraft and a US import one. Apart from the obvious huge wedge of cash and a sticker.
The reason I ask is Im looking to change my boat and the import route is tempting, I know is technically against the rules but I dont believe for one second that UK boats are made to a higher standard that US ones. I have heard the only real difference is a fire extingisher in the engine bay and obvioulsy the trailer. Any commets welcome. |

I have seen them before they have their boats advertised in several places.
I just really want to know what the specific differences are between a UK and US spec boat. When you speak to dealers they act like imports are sub standard. I realise they are just trying to protect their market but they never seem to be able to give specifics. |

Might just call that CE Proof company and ask them if they can send me some info... |
