Yeah, we've been out a few times... though the constant wind and rain has been a mission on the way over.

Sunday was awesome, did 1pm through 7pm or similar and I was riding well, boat was going good too! Saw someone in an inboard Nautique... have you seen them before?

Not seen the nautique before but seen a few other new boats up there all sterndrives with towers.. although last week was the first time we been up there on the weekend in a while... mainly been working the weekends and boarding the weekdays so we have had it all to ourselves!

Spotted the following product which looks cool:
ZeroGPS - Zero Off

Anyone had a go with one and can give a comparison with a paddle wheel based version?

ZeroOff is the new benchmark for PerfectPass.... its not exactly the GPS based cheapish Speedo you were looking for though... you're looking at about £800... it would kill 2 birds with 1 stone though.... its also really easy to fit and doesn't require you getting the boat out the water like old style PP.

This looks like the ideal pikey option:
GlobalTop HG-100 Bluetooth GPS + HUD Speedometer Description - eXpansys UK

Updates 5x a second and also displays on the windscreen though I'm not sure how good that would be on a bright day... if they did one with a large lcd that would be perfect.
