Wink Faria Dials...

I have read a lot on this site about buying stuff from the U.S. I have not bought anything but I e mailed Faria Corps in the states and moaned about the hideous cost of a replacement rev counter for my boat. They emailed back within minutes stating it carried a worlwide lifetime warranty. Sent it back to them 2 weeks ago today(cost £3 postage) and blow me down they sent me a brand new replacement F.O.C. via UPS. My local dealer not only charged me about £120 to fit one but did not fit one that matched. Asked them 6 weeks ago to replace, havn't heard nothing yet!!!
So all in all good on the boys and girls at Faria.

Sounds like faria have the same kind of customer service that the guys at perfect pass have. Great to hear as faria are pretty much the industry standard for dials now.

Thats great what was up with yours as this season when i dewinterised my boat i found all my dials were sticking after use and my fuel guage wont even register on full tank anymore only 3/4 im not impressed at all with them but maybe i could give this a go and see if theres any chance of a replacement for mine.
i was thinking of takin them apart and cleaning them what do you think?

Wink Forgot to mention...

The dial I had replaced was nearly 3 1/2 yrs old. I have found that my dials stick if they have been left a while - except the rev counter, that was knackered!! You have to tap the glass and hard with something like a key.
Go to the Faria website and follow the instructions for warranty claims - it is really that easy. The send you an e mail which you copy and put in with the said dial and post it back to them. They even e mailed to say they had received it and gave me a UPS tracking number - they even delivered when they said they would....

They shipped UPS?! Wow... now that is going above and beyond. Bet they spent more on that than both dials cost to produce!

Top marks Faria!

I'd forward this thread on to them so they know just how appreciated it is... unreal service!
