Default Do wakeboard specfic handles and ropes make a difference???

Right now I'm using our regular ski rope and handle. Are those thin wakeboard ropes that much better? & if they are which ones should I look at? :P

get a rope that is non stretch. straight line, accurate, and proline are some manufacturers that make wakeboard ropes. you WILL notice a difference when you move from a ski rope to a non-stretch.

i use a spectra handle and line but the other day i left it in my boat and went out in a friends boat. he had a polypro line, the difference is unreal. the polypro line felt like a piece of elastic. it was horrible.

i have a spectra rope and handle as well... it does make a difference... ifyou dont have a lot of money to spend on one.. you can get a cheap package with the rope and handle included... although there not as high quality it can save you up to 150$ (canadian).. but it does make a huge difference if your gettin big air and doing spins and flips especially!!! it still makes a big difference if you just like to casually jump maybee pull a few grabs as well..
