Cable Bedford?

Does anyone know anything about the cable thats supposed to be getting built there?
Ive scoured the internet and found one reference to it.

I heard its supposed to be completed in 2007, apparantly its just a hole in the ground at the moment.

I think there is a boat lake just next to it.

why build a cable in bedford when theres one for sale in m.k. too close together. it won't make any money.

I live 10 minutes from bedford and 30 from MK, knocks 40 mins of my journey each time.

princes and j.b. may be close together. but you have to look at the whole picture. the population in say a 30 mile radius of princes and j.b. is vastly more than milton keynes and bedford. How well is cirencester doing?

I ride @ cirencester 2 times a week (wed or thur / sat or sun) and it is always quite busy, normaly 5 seasoned riders and 5 first timers on week days nights after work and 20-25+ on weekends, just in the couple of hours i'm there.

They have a small slider in now and are putting in a kicker soon so getting it sorted.
