There’s an awesome event happening in December everyone should try to get to, if you’re living in London/Southeast anyway. It’s the Freesports Film & Photography Festival happening in Leicester Square and Carnaby Street. You can see all the info at:
http://www.freesportsfilmfestival.com
Basically all the best films, directors, athletes and photographers in Freesports are in one place over 4 packed days of exclusive premieres, shows, Q&A sessions, a gallery etc, from Thursday 8th December to Sunday 11th December. Loads of sports are being covered from Kitesurfing to Snowboarding, Parkour to Climbing, Mountain Biking to FMX to Skateboarding to Wakeboarding… and the whole thing is being hosted by TV presenters Christian Stevenson and Ed Leigh.
Seats for the film sessions are really limited so move fast to get yours now. Get some mates together or go with your partner and get some drinking, eating and Christmas shopping done too!
The Wakeboarding session is running from 3.40pm to 5.55pm on Friday 9 December, featuring some huge films out this year with Filth Transition and Relentless Re-cut (Encore). The Freesports Photography Gallery is going to be free admission in the Kingly Court in the middle of Carnaby Street with amazing photos blown up large like you never see them in the magazines.
