Hello

I'm also in Poole and would love to get a tow...I don't have a car, live in Westbourne so if there's anyone who doesn't mind picking me up with my board cos it's a bit tricky to ride me bike and carry it!!

Equally if there's anyone who wants to come out with me when I book a session with Poole Wakeboarding, I'll give petrol money to anyone who could give me a lift down to Hamworthy with my board!!

Hey guys

Bit late for this season I know - have only just discovered the delights of the wakey form! But I live in Branksome Park - usually travel with car, board, boat petrol money, beers and chocolate - just don't have a boat! So keep in touch for next year and maybe we can all hook up if there's still a ride available sometime.

Otherwise, if anyone wants to book a ride in the harbour or up at the lakes, give me a shout!

In the meantime...is anyone suffering withdrawal symptoms too?! Mind you, I'm off to Cabwake in the Dom Rep next week so...a week of wakey here I come...yeaaaaa!

Caroline

I ride up at Ellingham lake, and also in the harbour with friends.

Ellingham Water Ski and Wakeboard Club - good lake with a super air nautique. Sadly the lake's now closed until the end of march.

Non member tows are very expensive, and membership is only £200 a year so worth it!

Don't bother with the New Forest water park as its an awful set up. Sometimes they have 2 boats out on the very small lake at the same time, and you basically just go round in a circle!

Poole Wakeboarding is no more, I think James is selling his boat.

However harry at Gravity Wakeboarding is still towing! But I don't know for how long....

I had a bad experience with FC Watersports and got ripped off! £50 tow for all of 15 minutes! What joy!

Contemplating buying a boat next season to tow friends etc, seeing as I can't ride until at least the end of june . If I've got the boat I'll happily tow Wake Chat members for just petrol contributions

Failing all those guys I rode all winter up at the Quays, expensive but the tuition from Stew Mackie and Will Christien was well worth it.

::: QUAYSIDE ::: wake & ski :::

Cheers,

Kirky.

I thought Ellingham looked awesome till they charged me for a ten minute tow. 10 Minutes is ok if your not gonna fall in but you can hardly learn stuff in that time. Then they told me that they couldnt weight their SAN. Great spend 40 grand on a boat and then use it to put out the wake of a 6 grand one.
