Hi there!
We ( me and two mates) have had a boat at Balmaha for 4 seasons now. Opposite side of the loch to Balloch it has concrete slip and a natural slip. Would suggest launching it with a 4wD jeep but you can get away with a normal car. Just a small fee for launching it or speak to Sandy about storing it at the yard. See here: www.balmahaboatyard.co.uk/about.html There is a public slip at Malarkey further down that side of the loch don't think they charge a you will definately need a 4 by 4 is this is just a shinkle beach. On the other side of the loch the costs go up for storage, launching or jetty spaces. If you need more info or a hand let us know. Stu |

Hi
We came up to Loch Lomond weekend 21st July - 24th July. Stayed at Inverbeg Holiday Park and launched boat from there. Had a brilliant time loch was like a mill pond fri evening and most of Saturday. Wind picked up Sunday and Monday but still ok in morning and evening. What a beautiful place! Can't believe how big it was and how quiet, we were one of the only boats out wakeboarding most of the weekend. Didn't wear my wetsuit all weekend the loch was so warm. Thanks for the contact for boat storage as we would like to leave it up there next year. |
