For various reasons all my usual crew are unavailable this weekend (grrrr) so I'm stuck in the embarassing position of having a 2006 X-Star and a perfect weather forecast but no crew. And it's killing me.
Anybody interested in a ride (especially if you can drive!) on Friday or Saturday this week let me know..... high tide is middle of the day so that's roughly when I'm planning to head out if possible. Cheers Jeremy |

Hi Marcus
Haven't decided on Wakestock this year - off to Extreme Gene in a couple of weeks so will decide after that. Not sure about taking the boat up again though even if we go.... with the tide restrictions at Pwllheli which meant we had to be back to the slip late afternoon we didn't get that much time actually wakeboarding whilst we were there. I'm used to being able to head out early morning or later in the evening when you get the best water. Having said that, I saw Simon at Mastercraft when I picked up my boat out of storage and they're obviously pulling the comp this year so it would be cool to be there..... hmmm. Maybe I should try for a visitors berth at Pwllheli (I've always assumed there wouldn't be any available.)....... Are you going again? |

I was toying with the idea of taking my 230 up to wakestock and kipping in it... I'm sure my new cover would work fine as a tent ;-) Anyone any idea how to find out where to berth for the night?

Hi Jeremy
Only berths I know of are at Pwllheli marina - they were v helpful when I spoke to them but didn't have any visitors berths (other than for the one night I didn't make it back to the slip ahead of the water leaving!). They keep toying with plans to expand the marina but it gets held up in planning. Worth a try at Hafan Pwllheli. I used Bluewatermarine for park and launch last year. Jeremy |

yeah i'll be there again this year. If you phone them up and reserve a berth now, then you'll be fine. You can always reserve it and then cancel if you decide not to come down. Ive changed my number since last year so if you do decide to come down, let me know and we'll launch at th PB club in pwhelli, no times to be in; launch and retrieve whenever you want!
