Hi RossHoss,

We are based on the River Dee near Chester and close to M56 motorway network, the club is ideally located for riders in the North West and North Wales regions. We cater for wakeborder's (and skiers) of all ages and abilities. We have a club house with fantastic facilities plus a friendly licensed bar for a relaxing drink and social functions. We are a member owned, non-profit making club and one of the cheapest places to ride in the UK.

We have many boat owners without crew, so there is plenty of opportunity to ride if you don't own a boat.

For more information head to Deeside Wakeboard & Waterski Club or email info@dwwc.org.uk

On a side note, we have members that regularly travel from Warrington. I live in Leeds and travel every weekend too.

hi neal, thanks for the info, i have looked at the site and it seems good, the distance is a bit far for it to be regular but im desperate to get on the water so i might pop down on sunday if the weather is good. Can you pay per tow if you're a non member?

cheers, Ross

Hi Rosshoss,

I used to live st. helens too, I believe carr mill dam is only for speedboat (i.e. racing) I tried a long time ago to persuade to use it for skiing but did not get anywhere. It might have changed now as that was probably 10 years ago!
