Saltwater is Les Gets part of the Grand Massive? If so I have skied in Flaine twice.

Last year I took my son & daughter for thier first time. They are now as hooked as I am. Great area with so many diff runs.

As we were on a chair lift we saw a boarder jump from a rock took a nasty landing and summersaulted left his board behind & fell twisting through the air at least 3 times. he stood up to show us all he was OK only for his board to catch up with him. it must of been doing at least 30MPH. It missed his head by inches and ran to the bottom of the valley a Mile or so down.

Boarders beware make sure the board falls with you.

Scared the hell out of us I cringed so hard i nearly fell out of the chair.

Toby you'll love avoriaz its great. The snowpark is really good and the half pipe, well its just massive. Make sure you get the full "Potes du Soleil" pass as it will allow you to ride down in to switzerland.

Big Toe, Les gets is part of the Portes du soleil region. A full pass alows you a day in the Grand Massif but we have never gone over there as there is just some many runs out side our door.

toby. make sure you dont miss the last lift back. A taxi from chatel to Avoriaz is bloody expensive. I know I did it!
