Did you see the razor scooter vdeos when they first came out? They tried to make those look like they were sweet, but they turned out to be lame. kinda looks the same. they might be rad or they might blow. I rode something similar and it sucked. But it didn't carve well. So this could be decent.

Yes, I ride mine switch all the time to maintain my ability to lay hard carves switch while wakeboarding. It took about a week of riding hills switch before I got to the point where I started having to think to remember which is switch and which is regular.

And, I definitely wouldn't compare it to a scooter unless by scooter you mean "crotch rocket"
