Where does everyone think is the best single location to live for snowboarding/wakeboarding/mountainbiking?
Lake Tahoe looks good... though the French alps could be a leading contender also?

i'd agree with jeremy on this one. as far as board sports go, i think northern california would be the best place to live. im not sure about where in tahoe you would mountain bike though.
these are times from where i live to where i ride: wakeboarding: 1 hour away (delta) beach (surfing, etc): 30 mins (santa cruz, ca) skate parks: 5 mins away (there are several of them) snowboarding: 4 hours (lake tahoe) mountain biking: 4 hours (lake tahoe??) its possible to wakeboard, surf, go to a skate park and snowboard all in one day, and i know people that have done it. |
