cheers mate, just need to get the lake level to go down, hopefully it should be sorted by easter so we can get out on the lake.
You got any plans to go back to Greece this summer to ride the beast which is the XLS. I spoke to Ads the otherday and has crushed a vertibra in his back or something like that. Chris |

Hey mate
Yes I think we will be back out for some XLS Action!! Probably in September as we have just come back from Oz which was awesome. Are you going out there again this summer? Is Ads going to be there again also? - I presume he did his back snowboarding? Cheers

Dude, very nice boat, I very nearly bought this from Mark at SkiBoatZone - went for a super air instead...
X2's usually work best with a fat sac either side of the engine and one fat one as far forward in the walkthrough as you can get it - that's how the UK tour used to run it's x-star/X2 and it rocked! With the LPG tanks you have in the back (I reckon they're around 80ltrs) totally full up that should sort out the rear. If not add some lead around the tanks or plumb in some extra piggy back ballast bags above the existing tanks. Don't forget you've also got 120+ltrs of petrol tank to fill with fuel to add weight to the back as well. For the front, I had discussed with mark plumbing in one of the fly high integrated bow sacs under the front seats. see link Fly High Pro X Series Integrated Bow Sac: Wakeside.com All you need to do is run the vent hose from the middle tank up into the fill hole of the front bag, then run a vent hose out of the bag into a t-piece in your bilge or existing ballast vent line. This way when you flick the ballast switch on the dash (assume they fixed them back in place) the whole lot will fill just like normal plus it's all hidden away and you're rocking. Also, you could ring Stew Mackie at Quays and ask him how they weighted the boat. I've done way too much research on this on the US forums and if it was mine, I would fill the petrol tank and stick the fly high integrated sac up under the front seats. If I needed more, the plan was to add bars of lead front and back for some extra shizzle! Final note, depending on how big your lake is and the amount of peeps you take with you, I would seriously consider repropping the boat to a pitch that will give you more bottom end so that you get plaining faster, otherwise you'll spend the length of the lake trying to get up to speed ... good luck and enjoy that sick puppy! laters
