I guess its because of the strong £ to $ rate but this seems damn good value to me even if the price doesn't include a trailer.

The trouble is deals like this will devalue a whole load of second user boats out there!!!!

I agree it will help to reduce prices in the UK which I think is a great thing (and I own a Mastercraft which would probably lose some value if deals like this continue). Even if my current boat worth a bit less its not a problem because the boat I trade up to next time will be cheaper. It only becomes and issue if you want to get your money out of the boat and use it else where.
You have to bear in mind that as soon as the $ strenghtens they price will go up again although if the current exchange rate stays for a year or so hopefully everyone will get used to low prices and it will be harder for them to put the prices back up.

I think with a trailer and dealer prep you'd be looking at about 34k but that is still a great deal.

What d'ya reckon Jason, should we trade in the old girl?

Default X1

We have a 2004 X2 with the MCX engine upgrade. (350) What I am told is that this is really the preferred engine for the X1 and it benefits the resale substantially.

As per a few posts have said when you start to spec things up to a reasonable level it gets pretty expensive. We were seriously looking at a new X1 just to get a new boat with warrenty again but cannot afford it at the mo.

Prob just as well!
