Default MC Speed Control

Considering getting an MC X1/2 (or possibly a 210 Air nautique, probably shouldn't say that in this thread).

Some of the MC boats have proprietary speed control rather than Perfect Pass.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is and is MC Speed Control as good at holding the speed?

We only do some family wake boarding nothing too series and just want to make the job of driving a bit easier so don't need lots of features.
