Default Another Question...

Still have the 1983 mastercraft stars and stripes, and am looking for some good fat sacks/ballast to put in. Can you go over the weight requirements posted on the boat with sacks? I think the weight limit is under a thousand pounds.. somewhere like 900?.. If so what kind would be the best to get for some big wake and how do you think I should weight the boat? Thanks

We have a 84 S&S. With its low freeboard if you run a lot of weight you need to be carefull no water comes over the side.

We run 2 600lb sacs (one either side of the engine box) and 2 300lb sacs in the rear. This plus 4 people is about as much as you can do.

The capacity limit for the 19 skier is about 900lbs so we are well over it!
