Default Mastercraft Engine Flush

Whats the best way of getting or making a freshwater flush for the MCX engine?

Those flushpro kits are priced at £159 in the uk which seams a bit steep. Would like something like that though.

Any ideas, links, advice please?

Dont really fancy one of those fake a lake style solutions. Getting under the boats kind of out where it stands.

Never actually understood why people use fake a lakes, all that crawling under a boat with a plunger seems hard work.

If you don't have a raw water strainer fitted then fit one like this

Then all you have to do to flush is un screw the lid and stick your hose pipe in it. Added bonus is that it will keep all the weed and stuff out your trans cooler.

If you don't fancy that then it takes less than 20 seconds to remove the raw water hose and then you can stick the end of the hose pipe in there.

We have a flush-pro on our boat that we got from skidim, it cost all in £73 from the USA thats including delivery, import tax etc. make sure you use the code CCFAN to get your 10% discount!! or as it a mastercraft try one of the other partner sites: Daily_Encouragement For You

Flush Kits-Discount Inboard Marine

It normaly takes a 7 days to arrive from skidim. If you just go for the standard one with no through hull its only £60 all in.

ps. please no buying from USA bashing as i do buy 90% of my stuff from local suppliers but the mark up on these was crazy!

Cheers
Rossl

I got a flush pro kit from Ski Dim. Took about 7 days to arrive and was easy to fit. Then you just stick a hose pipe in and your away.

You really need a US threaded hose adaptor if you want a perfect fit but until I got one I just shoved the hose in and it worked fine.
