Will try Hazelwoods, they are quite a bit nearer in any case, contacted D2 because they have a demo boat for sale with lots of kit for seemingly good price.

We've dealt with George Hazelwood for years, really top bloke and i'd fully recommend. Their lake setup is amazing.

Regarding price... Just look at the $ and £ comparison prices on MC, CC and Malibus. MC and CC dealers here in the UK keep the prices high, protecting their own interests. It's another case of rip off Britain paying the same figure in £ as $. Given the £/$ exchange rate this shouldn't be the case.
I think D2 marine are pricing their Malibu stock a bit more competitively to get some market share/sales in the UK. and good on them, they are fabulous boats.

I actually got my boat (3 years old) in the US and imported it myself, saving at least £10k on the price for an equivalent aged/spec boat in the UK at the time. I'd happily buy Malibu from a UK dealer though if i was buying new in the future.
