Is an ICON board any good? A guy that boards a lot gave it to me so I'm assuming its not great. Also, the bindings on it aren't the boot bindings. They're like sandals and you strap in to them. It doesn't seem like they are as good as the boots. Does that matter in the way the board handles?
Thanks for your replies to these newbie questions. |

well if your just starting the board may work out ok for you but for in the future you may want to look at a hyperlite or o brien board. As for the bindings... get rid of them. your feet will not hold in them as well as a boot binding and will allow your feet to move around a lot more which will take away from your control. i strongly suggest getting a good tight boot style binding
