Default Can't seem to get big air...

I've been wakeboarding for a few years now, and up until this year, I've been using a crappy old beginners board... A couple weeks ago, I got an O'bien Player 138, but I still can't seem to get the pop off the wake I'm lookin for... I'm using a Mastercraft prostar 197, so there's no option for a lot of ballast... I've tried different speeds, different rope lengths, but I still can't seem to get any big air... seems like I can stay in the air just long enough to get a quick grab before hitting the water... I wanna start learning twists and inverts though. Anyone have any tips or is there something I'm missing? :?:
