Default whats wrong?

i just went wakeboarding yesterday and after about 50 tries i finally got up. once i got up it was pretty easy to stay up, i could carve back and forth within the wake but after about 2 minutes my arms got really really sore and i couldn't hold on anymore. i got up a second time and carved some more but then again after about 2 minutes up my arms got realy sore. i tried bending and unbending them but that just seemed to make it worse. :x

i was wondering if any1 could tell me wat i am doing wrong or wat would help me and if any1 else has the same problem. thanks for any help i can get.

your not doing anything wrong, your arms are just not used to that kind of excercise. you might notice that your back is gonna hurt after awhile of riding too. these things go away after the muscle grows a bit stronger. the more you ride the stronger you will get.
so the solution to your hurting arms is to ride more.

Above answer is correct. I am a physician and are just myself learning to ride. Feel the same thing but mainly from lower arms. Do not overdo it in the beginning. Allow a couple of days to rest so that you do not get worse inflammation in muslces or tendons or tendon sheaths. Then just go for it again......
