Default Getting a big guy out of the water

I just bought a wakeboard and struggled with getting up the first time. i have read some of the previous forum posts and look forward to trying some of the suggestions. I was wondering if anybody had specific tips for somebody who is tall (6'6") and weighs around 200#'s i.e. boat speed for starting.
Any advice is appreciated.

its always going to be a little slow getting up. 4.3 engines just dont have a lot of umph to yank up the big guys/girls. but it can be done with patience. if you are a left foot forward rider have the capt turn the boat slightly to the left when pulling out a rider. vice versa for a right foot forward rider. you will have to play with this and hopefully it helps.

that boat should have no problem pulling anyone out of the water....make sure the rider is not getting pulled over the board. 6'6" and 200 lbs is not a big guy..tall wise yes...weight no...should not have any problem with that weight.

If you are being pulled from the ski eye then just be really patient and don't try to stand up to quickly. Have the driver accelerate slowly at first.
I am 5'11" 220lbs behind an 18 foot Baja with th e same motor. It was tough the first couple of times but I found the more patient I was and let the boat pull me the easier it got. I put a Monster Tower on the boat and the difference is massive. I pop out of the water like I weighed 120. That motor has plenty of power. Just let you ass hit your heels and hold on. The board might look like it is starting to sink but that is what you want, it is leveling off and starting to plane. The sooner the board gets like that the less pressure you will feel from the board pushing so much water.
Sorry for the rambling, but I hope this helps.
