Another New Rider

Hi....as a new rider i have a couple questions. There will be there of us sharing the board. We range in height from 5'6" to 6'3" with about the same weight of 170-180. What size board should we get, and as well, what length rope is best???

if you all weigh around there then just go with a... 141-143 board. and as for rope length.. it doesnt matter untill you start jumping, kuz if you are jumping and trying to get wake to wake then the shorter the line the less distance you have to jump.

I am just wondering how a shorter line makes you have less distance to jump, as the wakes are the same width apart still. Am quite new so may completly misunderstand but....

Just got it, the wake nearer the boat is narrower and gets wider as it goes out.
