I always talk about my board byut anyway I got a Jobe wakebopard with mako 1.6 inches fins and E2 liquid force bidings and all that costed me
900 bucks (canadian) and I find that its great for begginers because it's very wide and not too expensive. Oh and the pack came with a tow rope and a videocassette. Jobe maybe doesnt have the coolest graphics but theyre ok I got a guy parachuting on mine and it's ok I guess. Not as cool as the liquid forces that have crazy blue flames on them but still good. Hope this is clear and that it helps.

Hi Zone 6
I noticed you are from Poole. Where do you go to buy your wakeboard Equipment? can you recommend any places where I might pick up a beginner's board 2nd hand? I haven't been boarding for three years. I'd like to take it up as my friend has just bought a boat, so there will be plenty of opportunites to go out.

Zippy,
try princes shop www.princes-shop.co.uk they have a good range of 2nd hand boards, do mail order and most importantly, have great service.

Hey,
I did get my board from Princes this year (next day delivery) and Steve is a top bloke if you need advice on which board to get... justaddwater in Bournemouth is the best of a bad (strikethrough) average bunch, ask for Jake, he rides and knows what hes talking about. Not sure who else sells them now? I've got a 136 Helix for sale, but its not really a beginners/sea board, no fins! Let me know when you start hitting sliders I'll let you have it then

Default CWB

Hey I have been wakebaording for about like 3 months and my 1st board was the hyperlite fluid. It was a good board for beginning. Now i have got better and i just bought a new board witch is a CWB ablsolute. I love the new board. It handles so much better and get a lot more pop of the wake. Hyperlight has some good boards to. I'm just a fan of CWB. If you are begining get the continuous rocker and not the 3 stage rocker. The 3 stage rocker has more of a loose feel to it and you ahve to hit the wake just right to get huge air. With the continuos rocker you can just hit the wake anyway and it will still give you air. But if you get used to it the 3 stage rocker will give you so much more pop of the wake. But for starting get a continious rocker. Side fins will also help you with tracking and digging in when you cut out of the wake. I Ski behind a boat though so it will be a little different. There is a lot of board and different styles that you can get see if the shop has a demo program and se if you can try out different boards.

Hope this helped

James
