Loaded question for me. I am a dealer and have several setups. My current setup is the Blindside Blade and Stomp bindings. That is a sponsered rider setup that is also a clinic demo board. I also have several prototype boards that have been given to me for evaluation. So most of my personal rides are zero.
As for sales. Most boards I sell are $250 combos and below. I sell 4:1 low-end to high-end. Most high-end boards are $350-500 for the board and $250-350 for bindings. Ropes on the low end are $50 and on the high end $160 or so. Again, 4:1 ratio. I would assume this forum to have about 1:3 low end to high end boards. Most boards are sold to families with pre-teen and teenaged kids as summer water toys rather than as serious sports gear. www.boarditup.com |
