Default Beginners:previous post will help

I'm not bashing anyone that is new and just wants some advice, but there are a million posts asking how to get up. No one is getting answers anymore because everyone is sick of saying the same things. If you really need help "getting up" just look up old posts.
My best advice for getting up is keep doing it. Everything you heard will help, people wont tell you wrong ways because I am sure thats how they got up. 99% percent of people "will not" get up right away, nor will they be able to stay up the first time they actually "get up." Just keep at it and you figure what works best for you and after a million times of doing it, it just clicks.

has some more info if can't find on this forum.

My prior post was taking about trying to get up but I also had other questions that werent answered like the where the rope should be hooked on (if the ring few inches off the water would be fine) and a few others. So, mine wasn't exactly the same but I know what you mean about people asking the same questions over and over. But then, some people dont have time to look back and find what they are looking for.

katie,
Technically, anywhere the rope is attached is fine. But to make getting up easier and for getting more air, a pole is better for keeping the rope up high.

Sorry if the last post came off kinda sour.
