I have just begun wakeboarding and was wondering what length of rope to use. I heard that if you are just learning you should use about 40-45 feet of rope and when you become more advanced you should use 55-60 feet of rope. Is that true? The longer the rope the more air you will be getting? I just bought 75' of Spectra rope and I will be able to take sections out, just wondering what the right length is.

way to long in my opinion the shorter the rope the better, i ride short rope because it gives me a feel of the boat board and more control, i reccomend 30 ft
