Cheers Frank - wise words indeed!!!!! Many times have i caught the front edge on my snowboard and boy does that sting!!!!! 8O

I am glad you pointed it out as i hadn't given it that much thought but i can see how that might happen!!!! OUCH!!!!

Well hopefully going down the lake angain this weekend so be sure to keep saying it in my head - 'watch that front edge' 'watch that front edge'..........

I dont worry about any edge and everyone says it will hurt. Well maybe i am doing something wrong cos it just doesnt hurt. Perhaps the crossover from snowboard to wakeboard stops there. A big fast edge catch on a snowboard means instant DEATH. So anything less just seems a right let off. That water is so much more forgiving than ICE.

hi, i'm just starting out as well ralf, i caught a an edge some how the other day and had my first face plant, it stung for a bit and i had a sore neck the next day,but the fun out weighs the pain.!!
