Default stiff plates for bindings

are these any good for extar strenght on the bindings?or should the two fixings on either side do the trick

if you're a beginner i wouldn't worry about it the stock bolts will do it. what bindings do you have?

I once ripped a binding out of the board with just the two bolts in. Probably my fault for not tightening them up each time I rode but I put stiffy plates in anyway and no problems since.

They certainly hold the bindings tighter to the board and avoid the flex induced by big wipe outs that may losen the bolts.

Stiffy plates are only really needed when you start doing big inverts like raleys that put massive strain on the bolts
