Default Anything I need to know...

Hey everybody! I just got a wakeboard because I wanted to try it for the next time I go out. Is there anything that I should remember while I'm out there? (I've never even tryed anything like this before so I'm gonna need all the help I can get!!! ops:

well depends if your skiing behind a boat or cable first..

If its a boat, remember to let the boat pull you out of the water, do not tr and stand up too quickly, relax, bend your knees, and pull the handle into whichever hip feels more comfortable which should encourage one foot to move forward. Try and maintain a solid stance, then to turn, just lean or point your shoulders.

If its a cable, then just envisage yourself getting out of a sofa chair as if pulled out by a mate. Don't stand up and relax! Let the cable do the work. Also look up at the carrier, if your looking at your board or feet, invariably you will end up closer to them sooner than you think!
