The problem with wearing 2 wetsuits is you can't move in them. I'm wearing my 3mm for as long as possible. Just in my 5mm steamer, I struggle to reach my board to take it off. I don't fancy the idea of a dry suit. I think they look silly. However, I've not tried it yet so I won't knock it too much. I'll probably be a convert after a boxing day tow!

I once wore 2 wetsuits to ride in January, felt and looked like michelin man.
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
Was crap for riding though

Don't do that anymore, just wear a wintersuit and take it like a man you wuss! Gloves are occasionally acceptable depending on the amount of snow cover that day

A drysuit is great if you are going out in the boat for a long time ie not coming to shore, it's the wind chill that gets you. otherwise a 5mm winter steamer with a thermal neoprene long sleeve rash vest is cosy as. A flask helps too. !

I assume you guys are talking about dry suits without the feet/socks. I've got a dry suit with the socks attached but had trouble getting my feet out of the bindings. And by the way whats wrong with weeing in a dry suit or am i just weird.
