Default Wetsuit question?!

i`m quite keen to carry on boarding for a while longer and i only have a 3mm shorty at the moment, so i was wondering on what to get for the next month or so, i`m not going to do it when its absolutely freezing so would i be right to get a 5mm full wet suit, or is a dry suit better! what about my feet if using a wet suit, its getting a bit nippy now!!

cheers

jay

You want a 5mm Steamer and some neoprene socks just thick enough to still let you get in your bindings.
As for the dry suit, Dave's wakeboarding relativity theory states that as most boarding in Winter is done at weekends and most alcohol is consumed at weekends not being able to piss in ones dry suit is a major drawback. Not unlike Mobydicks foreskin, thus endeth the lessen.

Was out yesterday in 3mm steamer. Not too bad but will be moving on to the drysuit by the end of the month I think.

Never been a big fan of thick wetsuits. Prefer drysuits esp. if you out on the boat for a few hours. Much better to be in dry clothes than a wet wetsuit.
